Re-collection

Recollecting memories and multi-sensory experiences.

Based as a collaborative project Re-collection, inspired by synaesthesia, examines how humans recollect memories and the key role the five senses play in a memory. A publication was created to explore each individual's personal memory through one of the five senses.

My personal work was based on the memory of a music concert that I went to a few years ago. Entitled ‘Spare Ticket’, my visuals capture the images my brain relays to me when I reminisce about the memory, the colours and movement of the event. Flashes of blue and the lights swirling above me with patterns of indigo and sapphire.
